About us

The "Royal Gardens of Rajnagar" are 18th century royal produce gardens in Rajnagar (Madhya Pradesh, India; - situated a mere 3 miles from the temple city Khajuraho). The Belgian chapter of the Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development (ITRHD) has taken up this project to restore these gardens and to turn them into training centers for sustainable, organic agriculture. Moreover, the project aims to promote Sustainable Development Goals in specific local programs. Everything is done with the help of the local population and for the benefit of the same.
